and a 4.5MM Hook.
Skill level: Medium. This pattern uses mostly Double Crochets. It requires working into previous rounds stitches and in some cases working them around stitch posts and around base of 'flower'.

Starting with the flower
Round 1:
Ch 4, Ss into in beg ch to form ring. Ch 3, 19, dc in ring, Ss to join.
Round 2:
Ch 3, 2 dc in ea space between dc's of previous round. Ss to join.
Round 3:
Ch 3, 3 dc in ea space between dc's of previous round. Ss to join.
Round 4:
Ch 3, 2 dc in ea space between dc's of previous round. Ss to join.
Now working on leaves
Round 1:
Ss into bottom of round 1, ch 4, dc in same spot. Work 5 more v sts around base, Ss into ch 3 of beg ch 4 to join.
Round 2:
Turn, ch 3. Ss into bottom of vst. *5 dc up the right side post of next vst, then 5 dc down the other vst post, Ss into bottom of next vst*. Repeat from * to *around. Ss into bottom of first vst to join. Ch 3. Ss into top of next leaf. *5 dc up the right side post of next vst, then 5 dc down the other vst post, Ss into top of next leaf*. Repeat from * to *around.
Rope Handle
Ch 3, Ss through sides beg ring to close flower up a bit. Ch 2, sc in 2nd ch from hook. *Insert hook into left loop of sc just made, yo, pull through, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook* Repeat from * to * to desired length. Ss into Bottom of flower. Fasten Off.
